Agree 100 percent. Zelensky has made this plainly clear to the new administration. It is wishful thinking that this administration can swoop in and get a peace deal just like that.

From what I understand, Russia still has at least 150. Neither one gets it. Instead give Crimea back to the Tatars and their sauce and be shot of it.Ukraine hold the view that they want Crimea back. I suspect that that is and always has been a wishful thought, but its something the can 'concede' in negotiations for the return of some of the areas that Russia has taken since the 2022 invasion.
