Those were used for training and were thus common. Never heard it was used in anger.Didn't the Luftwaffe use concrete bombs when supplies ran short
A wooden warhead? Reminds me of the Blue Circle ballast, ahem radar in the early Panavia Tornadoes. Didn't the Luftwaffe use concrete bombs when supplies ran short? Concrete bomb - Wikipedia. I suppose even with a wooden warhead there's the kinetic energy of the weapon itself.
More reporting:Sweden ups the ante.
"Today, Sweden presented its largest military support package to Ukraine to date, valued at almost $1.6 billion."
View: https://x.com/PlJonson/status/1906662712031014954More than half of the package will go towards procuring new staff. So, maybe we'll see Gripens after all.

I am surprised that Denmark hasn't asked to re-open the 1951 U.S.-Denmark Defense Agreement that allows U.S. access and operations on Greenland. There are some who believe that the threat to invade Greenland is a "diplomatic" move to destabilise NATO for Putin's benefit. I cannot agree with them but equally I cannot Disagree with them. Greenland is part of Denmark which is a founding NATO state. Article 5 would protect Denmark and Greenland from any Russian invasion but what happens if the US invades? NATO would be fighting NATO and the only winner is Putin. With friends like that who needs enemies.
