Studying the videos posted by the Russian source makes me wonder: where is the proof of the HIMARS launcher destruction? We see videos of HIMARS launching missiles, then some units (HIMARS? self-driven decoys?) moving along the road, then another unit or units (HIMARS? decoys?) hit by drones.
As in many other cases, the number of videos does not verify the claim. (The same can be said about many Ukrainian claims, of course).

Nobody with a right mind would have used Leopard 1 as frontline tank, at least in my mind I had always seen them as infantry support or makeshift artillery system. The Marder on the other hand seems to be a tad underpowered in this version and overtaxing the engine quicky leads to a overheat.
The comments regarding the patriot carier vehicle seems strange as that should be a common vehicle used by Bundeswehr. I believe PzH 2000 was never designed for constant firing like both sides seem to like in larger operations - it was more intended to be like a sniper and eliminating target with help of guided/smart munitions. With all the tech systems added to western vehicles I expect them to have higher maintenance needs than the rather crude russian tanks.
 
The views of Ukraine deserve to be taken seriously as for obvious reasons no one has used such a breadth of equipment so intensively before.

Its almost as if the designers get carried away with producing the most advanced technical solutions, forgetting that they need to be soldier proof and most of all, reliable.

I'm guessing militaries did not expect war to play out the way this one has. I'm guessing no-one expected a European land war at all.
 
Very good news. New IRIS-T can engage cruise missiles and allow Patriot batteries to focus on the ballistic threat.
