On July 14 Trump promised to slam Russia with 'severe' 100% tariffs if no Ukraine deal is made in 50 days. We are now up to day 46 and the US administration has not even whispered of any new "adjusted offsets" against Russia. The only actions have been to be nice to Putin and to severely criticise Ukraine for damaging Russian fuel and rail assets and the Russian economy.

Under their constitution, Ukraine cannot hold elections while under martial law, and there's the security question as well as the fact that a majority of Ukrainians don't support holding elections...I very much doubt that this was Zelensky's exact words.
I agree if what he said was you cannot have elections while the enemy is bombing the shit out of you (because Putin would definitely attack polling booths and counting centres) but you can have elections during a war if you are sitting on your fat **** thousands of km/miles from any military action like American politicians are.
Day 49 and it sure looks like chicken on tomorrows menu.
