Could be a slightly worrying development !

And we've heard precisely nothing from Washington DC.

Frankly, I'm appalled that the entire NATO membership isn't up in arms about this latest development.

The slightly more worrying issue is the lack of success enjoyed by Polish/NATO air defences. Perhaps 4 drones brought down out of 19-24 that penetrated Polish airspace? That's not a good strike rate...and that's before we consider the expensive assets used to bring down those 4 drones.

I agree that at best is a 20% interception rate. And I agree that intercepting a $20,000 or less expensive drone with a $100,000 or more asset is not a good exchange rate long term.

But I wonder how alert the Polish defenses where? I am sure more on alert than before 2022. But less than if involved in actively weekly or daily incursions.

The first attempt at countering incursions is usually a learning experience. I would be more concerned if this was the result after the 3rd or 4th such incursion.

That being said I am sure the polish defenses will be more successful on any future incursions. And I also hope they will not need to prove that.
