I agree that horses can go places that other transport cannot but surely, with a normal body temperature of 37.5 - 38.5° C, the horse will show up as a large hot mass on thermal imaging equipment which means they will be able to be detected long before their drivers. To me, if the Russians are trying a stealth attack the horse is Ukraine's best friend.

The statement in this video about a SAM possibly crashing inside the city reminds me that not that long ago there was a news item on gun nuts at a wedding shooting their guns into the air and one of the bullets falling and killing one of the wedding party.

I wonder how many Russians are being killed or injured by AA shell fragments and SAM debris falling to earth, or debris from falling drones.

From what I see the Ukrainian civilians are smart enough to head for shelters as soon as an attack starts but the Russians do not seem to have realised that they can be an unintended casualty yet.

Me too but the good thing is the a***holes that put the horses in those locations get wounded or eliminated. I prefer severely wounded for the Russians and killed instantly for the horses but unfortunately that will not always be the case. Russians hiding behind horses will probably be wounded and the horse killed so that is good.

So long as Ukraine and its supporters are treated as a profit centre to be gouged to the maximum possible limit this move to source goods anywhere except the USA will continue to expand until suddenly those running the gouging profit centre will suddenly find themselves out of business as necessity causes the customers to replace all those items they currently get from the gouger with products from people with ethics. I can see China becoming the major electronic components supplier because they are already world leaders in many electronic fields and they produce to a price that allows a small profit on a large order, and to promote/produce future orders, rather than a massive profit on a small order with no consideration to future orders.

Do not forget that the first generation Flamingo is almost as capable as the Tomahawk and I predict it, or a new Ukrainian design, will surpass the Tomahawk very soon.

Edit below for accuracy because GrauGeist pointed out in the next post Ukraine did make the Neptune pre 22 and also made a lot of items for the CCCP during the soviet years

And before you reject that idea you need to remember that 3 1/2 years ago Ukraine did not make any made very few world leading class weapons in any field. Now they are exporting designs to other countries and other countries are building factories to build Ukrainian designed missiles, drones and other mil hardware for Ukraine and the countries building the factories.

Have to disagree with this last bit.

Ukroboronprom has been a leader in Ukrainian defense and has several weapons that have bled Russia, like their Neptune cruise missile.
They also manufacture under license, an Anonov An-132D.

Also keep in mind that Ukraine's defense industry was a key supplier to the Soviet Union with aircraft design and manufacturing as well as AFVs and warships.
