Just for info, Ukraine hasn't bought Russian gas since 2015.

Growing up during the cold war, 70's and 80's, I've found myself thinking several times, what the h*ll were we afraid of, then again, back then it was the Warsawa Pact and not only Russia, might have been different....

I mistakenly thought that, because a lot of EU countries get gas from Russia via Ukraine, that Ukraine got its gas from the invaders. My apologies.
Well there was something to be afraid of. Back then the Ukrainians were on the other side…

Years later, when the full-scale war began, this same pilot went back to the skies — this time alongside his own son.Together, they flew dangerous low-altitude missions, striking enemy armor, fortifications, and supply convoys under constant threat from Russian air defenses. But just 11 days after their joint missions began, tragedy struck. His son was killed in action.Today, the father continues to fight — flying the same aircraft type, the Su-25, which has become both his weapon and his memorial. Despite outdated equipment and deadly odds, he carries on, flying "for two."
