I found this part to be amazing."Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova confirmed that there is infighting in the Kremlin inner circle, that the Kremlin has ceded centralized control over the Russian information space, and that Russian President Vladimir Putin apparently cannot readily fix it. Kremlin journalists, academics, and Novorossiya supporters held a forum on the "practical and technological aspects of information and cognitive warfare in modern realities" in Moscow on March 11.[2] During a panel discussion Zakharova stated that the Kremlin cannot replicate the Stalinist approach of establishing a modern equivalent to the Soviet Information Bureau to centrally control Russia's internal information space due to fighting among unspecified Kremlin "elites."[3]
Zakharova's statement is noteworthy and supports several of ISW's longstanding assessments about deteriorating Kremlin regime and information space control dynamics. The statement supports several assessments: that there is Kremlin infighting between key members of Putin's inner circle; that Putin has largely ceded the Russian information space over time to a variety of quasi-independent actors; and that Putin is apparently unable to take decisive action to regain control over the Russian information space.[4]"
This could be very dangerous for Putin if it should open the door to the airing of dissent.
Japan has not yet sent weapons to Ukraine because its (post war) legislation forbids so, however ....

I found this part to be amazing.
Dictatorships stay in power because they dominate the life of the people below them. In todays world that means controlling the narrative and if Putin has given control over to multiple third parties, then things seem to be going rotten from the core outwards. It isn't unusual to have a strong supporter in charge of the narrative (thinking of Goebbels for Hitler), but more than one is inviting infighting and confusion.
That said, Ukrainian systems are also suffering similar...though hopefully they are being reconditioned.Apparently half of Russian artillery has worn out and there are piles of artillery not repaired due to lack of parts.

I would take more note of the comments of the USAF Chief of Staff GEN Brown as per here from only days ago:Just as a refresher, here is the data on the current A-10C straigjt from the source:
A-10C Thunderbolt II
The A-10C Thunderbolt II is the first Air Force aircraft specially designed for close air support of ground forces. They are simple, effective and used against light maritime attack aircraft and allwww.af.mil
Take particular note of this part regarding it's defenses:
"...infrared and electronic countermeasures to handle surface-to-air-threats, both missile and anti-aircraft artillery."

It's the pilot we care about. Can the existing fleet be converted to A-10PCAS drones?"The A-10 is a great airplane … in an uncontested environment"
