I wonder how badly damaged. USS Cole almost sank from a boat attack. In that attack 400-700 lbs of C4 explosives were molded into a shaped charge against the hull of the boat. I'm not sure the Ukrainian sea drones are thusly capable.

Russian propagandist Strelkov posted a photo today with a comment showing this ship under its own power going to the port of Sevastopol, but I did not check the date of the photo.

The Kremlin's Pyrrhic Victory in Bakhmut: A Retrospective on the Battle for Bakhmut

The Russian military command initially sought to seize Bakhmut to support a wide encirclement of Ukrainian forces in Donbas in Spring 2022

The successful Ukrainian counteroffensives in Kharkiv Oblast in September 2022 that liberated Izyum ended the prospect of a wide encirclement of Ukrainian forces in the east, thus depriving the attacks on Bakhmut of operational significance.

It is not even clear that the Battle of Bakhmut is yet over.

Judging from the video, the ship was struck near the stern -- i.e. engineering spaces. There was obviously a bit of kinetic energy involved as well. Even if the Russian target survived, it won't be operational for quite some time, I'd think.

I'd be interested in learning about the design of these Ukrainian surface drones, shaped charges, type of explosive, etc, if anyone has any info.

1000 pages. Well done all

Now maybe some other users could share them but I think only The Czech Republic would be an option realistically.

It's too bad Ukraine wasn't able to buy Gripens in the 2010s. By now they'd have dozens over the battlefield.

Imagine being on a Russian warship facing a pair of low flying Gripens armed with RBS15 anti ship missiles. Just look at the size of these beasts!
