Smoke and mirrors, that plus there's always lies, damn lies, and statistics.

You're describing an RT program.

Oh .....

You're describing an RT program.

Or any programme, in any country, where the politicians have something to hide.

Reports over a beriev A-50 being shot down by ukr start to make the rounds.
If true that would be painfull.

+ possibly an IL-22
Another Patriot death trap?
Or a profane mid-air collision?
At least the IL-22 may have managed an emergency landing in Anapa

oh great rainbow boy is back...

Hey, I was getting worried about him.

I don't think it's a Beriev. It may be the nomenclature was confused in the initial report. I don't think it was the flying boat but I might be being optimistic.

I wonder how that's going to work out when Russia is already stripping barrels from obsolete towed guns to rebarrel SP guns -- because they lack the production capacity to build new barrels.

Don't forget that Ukraine also has the need for replacing barrels on their artillery.

You know they care when they arrange for something different...

Poetic justice.

The IL-22 may have survived the attack but with lots of shrapnell damage, some of the crew and electronics may be toast/swiss cheese

Also interesting, shows claimed flight pattern of the A-50. So it came too close to the sun and got burned ... (Maybe Ukrainians also get Patriots with an unofficial range bump)
