NOOOOO!
My favorite Russian/Soviet ship! From whence shall humor aquatiqe now arise? I despair.

Right, as a business manager who's done his share of time and then some doing forensic accounting for loss-prevention, tracking inventory is old hat, which is why I mentioned it above.

I have no experience of tracking inventory outside of aviation but in aviation everything needs a birth certificate right through to installation on the aircraft. If it is a rotable (think wheels, brakes, engines and everything else that can be serviced and returned to service) or lifed item (one that must be scrapped after n hours or cycles in service) it also must be tracked when on the aircraft, right through the overhaul/service/modification/repair systems until removed and scrapped. Some lifed parts must also have a scrapping history. Every lifed and rotable item has an individual serial number.

Thank you for the correction regarding the recent raids.

One of the drone production pages I linked to above said about 50% of Russian drone production was Shaheds, meaning Geran 2 and similar.

Do you believe that is an accurate claim or exaggerated?
Such a coincidence: Zelensky just claimed that 50% of the drones in last night's attack (over 500) were Shaheds. However, it takes time to study all the data and especially the wreckage, so I think his figure is a ballpark one.
"They were all Zeroes"...
30% is the estimate of local experts and relates to the late 2024 and 2025 periods in total. I think it makes sense, as it coincides with several reports of air defence units and air force spokesperson.
Then there is a difference in the ranges. Popular and cheap decoys such as Gerbera are under 300 km, not enough to reach the western regions. So, Shahed's share can be higher in the west and lower in the east.
Chernivtsi were hit last night by only 4 drones and 1 missile, with civilian casualties, unfortunately. In the morning, drone wreckage was located and identified as Shaheds, while the missile remained unknown.
Kharkiv is under frequent attacks by short-range Molnia. Odessa was hit since March 2025 by jet-powered Banderol several times.

I like "We". If my Google Translate is correct.
