Note the ratio wounded/killed. Probably, worse than in any army in WWII. Even worse, if most of the MIA are actually KIA.

Cuba has been in the throes of an economic and energy crisis for several decades, a situation that got much worse when the soviets left. One of the major props for the island for 40 years has been Canadian tourists (roughly 40% of the annual total) and I wonder how the news that Cubans are actively engaged with Russia to fight Ukraine will affect that situation. Probably not well, given the size of the Ukrainian-Canadian community.
