Will it last as long as the Iran Iraq war? My country seemed to have a vested interest in prolonging that war and selling weapons in increasing amounts to the side that was losing the war at the time.

An F-16 can get down to 75 KIA, albeit at about 25° AOA, but they're pretty handy doing 145 in the circuit before final approach. I was stationed at Carswell AFB, immediately across the runway from General Dynamics, and the 301st reequipped with them in 1991, and so I saw hundreds of F-16s doing their acceptance flights and/or approaches/IFEs and so on -- which all include slow maneuvers ... not that a Shahed is pulling chandelles or Cuban 8s to dodge incoming.
