I think that saving his nation is the greatest prize of all.
I also agree about the not running part. In fact, those who claim that he is corrupt and only staying there and prolonging the war (their words not mine) for his own benefit should look at photos such as this to see what utter BS it is. He has also already said that if the way to end the war on correct terms/get full military support to fight the Russians was his resignation he would do so.
