This is an unfortunate incident that demonstrates a problem that will be common for every relatively small country with high population density in the future war. Where do you store your ammunition and explosives stock?
In a traditional storage facility that is well protected against sabotage and occasional strikes, but impossible to hide or quickly relocate, which means persistent attacks will destroy it if the enemy has enough ballistic missiles and drones?
In a dispersed system of smaller facilities that mitigates the risk of losing a significant share of your stock but requires too many anti-air defence systems, more than you ever planned in your budget?
In light, disguised facilities that "blend" with civilian infrastructure and remain hidden for a long time... but once discovered by the enemy and hit, the detonations' impact is lethal to many civilians...
Going underground is the safest option today. I wonder if anyone is planning that in Europe, except the Finns?
