Can't believe I'm typing the same reply Have a look at the Luft46 website.Those two are almost run of the mill compared to some of the German WW2 designs.

Of the many Luft 46 "paper projects", the Do335 was actually built and flown.

A guy on rcgroups has built quite a few of them.He got this one to fly,albeit with modifications to the airframe.
