Are there any Supermarine Spiteful's left in flying condition?

What happened to the ones made?

Only 19 Made, order cancelled. Two prototypes, of the seventeen Spitefuls built three joined service test establishments another three were retained for development work by the manufacturer with the rest going into storage.

With the advent of jet propulsion, the future of high-performance fighters was clearly with the jet fighter.

the spiteful was developed into the jet powered attacker using the spiteful's wing with a new body and jet engine, there is one of these at Yeovilton fleet air arm museum, pics of her will be on my thread on the visit once i get time to load the rest of the pics

To answer the first part of your original question, there are no Spitefuls left at all in any condition. It is another missing link in British aviation history. The Attacker mentioned above is the only one left AFAIK.
Cheers
Steve

Mind at least we may get 20 MkXIV's back flying soon (fingers X'd) :)
