We run a security based internet service (with SQL databases etc) and have jsut a little experience with hackers etc. Not one ISP has ever been in the slightest interested in any investigation, it upsets their paying customers. Our usual recourse if attacks continue, is to do a wee thing we call "The Chernobyl Effect" to their computer. No effect until they turn it off and on again, can you say MELTDOWN.
