    I've always like the bird. Shame an example was never preserved.

    You are right, vikingBerserker, they should have saved at least one airframe for display...

    There was one being saved at Monthan-Davis, ear marked for the USAF Museum, but I guess the base commander thought it was an eye-sore and had it scrapped. Same with the B-19. A crying shame...

    I have two of the V form, an injection mold would be the would be the best, but not to jinx, 1/48 also would be a delight.
