Backwards fighter jet

Not a jet fighter but the propeller Kyūshū J7W1 Shinden built as a prototype only ... the jet propulsion was going to be used for the Kyūshū J7W2 Shinden Kai version. But it was just the project only and due to the end of the war, it stayed in the design sphere.

There were several Canard Pusher types experimented with, during WWII, that looked like "backwards" aircraft.

Along with the above mentioned Kyushu J7W, there was also the Curtiss XP-55, Ambrosini SS.4, Miles M.39B and MiG-8 just to name a few.
