In my castle....
Does anyone know what Hawker Typhoon, Baron Jean De Selys Longchamps flew on his unauthorized attack on Gestapo HQ, on Avenue Louise 453 on the 20th of January 1943?

A tad confused, didn't he serve with the No. 609 Squadron (PR-), when he made the solo attack on the HQ?
Is it the same aircraft, just a different code?

That's funny, I don't find DN305 in my Typhoon/Tempest book....
But, on the 5th of February 1943, P/O P. J. Nankivell apparently shot down an Fw 190, southeast of Eastbourne, flying that bird, DN305 coded PR-M....🤨🤔

....and:

20/01/1943, No.609 Sqn Flt Lt the Baron Jean de Selys Longchamps in Typhoon DN305 PR-M and Flt Sgt Andre Blanco in Typhoons attacked enemy trains and straffed Gestapo headquarters in Brussels. F/L de Selys claims 1 locomotive and F/S Blanc claimed two.

I'm tempted to get this one.....
