Bismarck ship records

[Wirbelwind]

Does anyone know if any logs or service records from the Bismarck survived the war?

They do. The war diary (sans her final voyage) is online somewhere. Additionally, IIRC, Staatz took her damage controll notes with him and as he was rescued, they were preserved.
