Bombing Germany

American b-17's are pounding Germany in the
thousand bomber raids. The remains of the Luftwaffe do its best
against the bombers but cannot go against the numbers. Germans suffer
through the deprivation that war has brought them but the bombing
brings them closer to a final peace.

I had a neighbor who lived in Berlin during the War. She would talk a not about seeing the bombers overhead. Poor thing, thunder storms scared the heck out of her.
