I had my eye a 42 Plymouth pickup way back in the late 1960s for a few years. It was the delivery truck for a fellow hardware store and when the independent hardware stores began organizing as Ace and True Value, some chose to quit business, especially those who were marginal in profit. I had long expressed my desire to buy it and of course my first daughter was just born and I passed on the truck. Later, my hardware's old boss called to tell me he was closing and the 57 Ranchero I made deliveries with could be mine as I had always wanted. Unfortunately, daughter number two had just arrived so once again no deal. One of the few Fords I liked, 292 V-8, 3 speed manual with overdrive.
...avoid like the plague
I drove this 08 Saturn Vue today. It has the "pumpkin" interior option. I'm changing the name in the catalog, it's the Cinderella edition.
Doing some work on my '07 Chevy HHR and realized that it has to be one of the few modern cars that looks like an old school street rod when it's fenders and bumper fascia is removed.
