Can't tell for sure what happened. It looks like the ground crewman forgot to take the rear tiedown loose, then went back and loosened it. Wonder if he let it spring up into the tailrotor ? Or the pilot didn't have the chopper firmly planted when he took the tiedown loose ? I don't see any sign of a wind from behind.
The tailrotor got into something for sure, the tiedown, the ground crew, or ?
Lucky people for sure. I've known of a helicopter killing it's own pilot, and he never even got it off the ground.
