Curtiss Helldiver 1/72 Heller kit

I have an other question, I found a kit about Curtiss Helldiver 1/72 Heller I don't know If buy or not buy this kit, question: this kit is good (the quality)?, I know there are many specialists on this forum

I have a copy of that kit in my stash (bought mine at a modelling show for the princely sum of 2$ and the kit was still in it's FSW too) and the review is dead on. If you want to do the kit in US markings try looking for a set of after market decals by Starfighter. Decals are printed by Cartograf, cost 5$ a sheet and the shipping for two sheets was only 1.50$ (of course that was for the US). And I just ordered them today. Was wondering what the heck I was going to do for US markings as the ones in the kit were French and totally worthless anyway.

I have no idea, but I believe the site has shipping options for overseas and for US as well as for decals. You can always run thru the purchase and then cancel it if the shipping is too exorbitant. IIRC, the shipping cost will come up as one of the FIRST things after you enter your shipping address. You'll just have to check it out.

I do remember that they also sell the kit for 7.50 US$. Not sure how that compares with prices in Europe though. It's Heller kit #80825.

That's about 12 US$. That's about right I think - maybe a bit high but only by a couple of dollars.

Not rare I think. There are at least 10 of them available on E-Bay between 7 and 10 $.

The Matchbox kit is better than the Heller kit?, it's possible find a Matchbox kit?...

I didn't say that. I just said that Matchbox MADE one in 1:72. I have NO idea about whether it's better than the Heller kit or not. Never seen the Matchbox kit up close while I DO have the Heller one. I don't think there is a LOT of difference however or significantly more detail in one over the other.

And yes, one of the kits on E-Bay was a matchbox. Heck for all I know the Matchbox and Heller kits use the same molds!
