Flying Officer Arthur Clouston climbs from his plane at Croydon, after his record-breaking flight from New Zealand with Victor Ricketts, 26th March 1938. Clouston's wife is seen leaning over the plane. The aircraft is the 'Australian Anniversary', also named the 'Burberry' or 'Grosvenor House', a de Havilland DH.88 Comet.

Wow. That last photo looked like the famous photographer of b+w scenic pictures, Ansel Adams himself, took that shot. Beautiful.

Oops. I was referring to that picture showing a front 3/4 view of Grosvenor House as viewed by itself on the ground with clouds as backdrop.
