I saw once an aircraft crash right before me. It took off but i heard the engine missing and run rough and then a bit later die. In stead of pushing nose down and gain speed, pilot lifted nose in i think attempt to go back to runway.
Stalled so..
Never made it.
Luckily no fire, low speed impact. Fire brigade was there in lightspeed.
All were well.
Turned out to be pilot error not locking primer handle iirc, wich caused the engine to drown in fuel.
There is a risks in ancient airplanes we like, by flying them.
Not only for the owners pilots and ground crew, but all involved in producing an airshow.
