Hi. I'm looking at getting a few die cast/prebuilt and I was wondering if anyone could share some advice:
I'm not a modeler but as a plane-interested person I would like to have some physical examples at correct scale for comparison when reading onlinenerd fights discussions about different ww2 planes. But there is a huge range of prices and availability out there and some very mixed reviews. I was initially quite interested by Oxford Diecast but there are some shocking reviews out there (as well as many glowing ones), and its also not clear to me which sites are actual manufacturers vs just reselling.
I'm not an actual collector (yet) so not looking for anything incredible, just reasonably affordable with accurate scale dimensions, not horrible in quality, not misleading in details.
Obviously, all models at the same scale would be best.
Shipping within EU would be a bonus as I am in Sweden.
- which scale has best availability for semi-obscure aircraft from the late thirties/ww2 1:72 or 1:100? Bigger? smaller?
- recommendations/warnings regarding manufacturers/sellers?
