I love the I-16. Not sure the draw for me, it's just one of the quirky little craft that I enjoy, like the PZL11. Anyway, the annoying thing is that because of the engine (lack of fuel injection I guess) when I push forward on the stick to perform a simple dive, the engine cuts out. It's frustrating when the enemy is below me and I feel like I can't dive. I have to do a barrel roll to lose a little altitude. How to you guys handle it?

Wow, that helped. My first mission out I accidentally dived on a lone 109 and the engine quit. I panicked and spun into the trees.
Danke Herr Geist!
