Cheers Terry thanks, a dark Green would have been my guess, some even look black...

Some out in the sun shots with undercarriage on and some wash in the wheel wells.
I also tried some decal rivets on the engine covers....

Yep, I'm liking hose river decal thingys.
Wayne, the RP body (rocket tube) could also be black by this period. The 'standard' colour was a dark green much darker than RAF Dark Green, with the warhead in a shade close to RAF DG, but with more of an olive tinge, these colours being a 'left over' from WW2.
In Naval use, I believe the body was a mid grey colour.

Got the decal rivets from Hannants, Microscale sheet.

Thanks for your comments guys.

Sprayed a second gloss coat today, to seal whats been done.

Got all the Rocket sets prepped too, came from 2 of the Seafire/spitfire kits.

Thanks Guys.

Added some more decals to the canopy....16 separate tiny Yellow decals to apply and space evenly...and line up correctly...in short a pain in the butt...
and painting the Rockets too...
