Check your refs first Karl - I can't remember without checking myself, but I think the turret was "frameless", having either overlapped joints in the Perspex, or Perspex strips over the joints.
Quick look found this pic, but I should have some better ones somewhere.


 
Spent most of yesterday working on this build.

Props painted and dry fitted, nose wheel and bomb sight installed


Package guns painted and fitted

Tail gun position fitted, terrible fit but impossible to work on so living with it as is

Main wheels painted and installed
Signal lamps painted

Think i am done.

nose wheel doors fitted, nose cone has had .50's installed and attached to model, masking tape has been removed from the canopy after 5 years and props have decalls added and and attached to engines.

only 5days work to finish this kit after a 5 year hiatus and certainly no prize winner but i think this could be my favourite build so far.
