Ofw Schmidt was flying yellow 4 W/nr 8980 of 3/Jg3 near Kiev on 20th July 1941 when hit by AA fire and forced to land his Bf 109 F-2, subsequently captured by Russian troops his fate is unknown

i dont think there can be an Eastern front GB without a few Bf 109 's !

i plan on doing this in standard RLM 74/75/76 colour scheme unless anyone has different info ?

i have built this kit before and it went together very well and looks the part when put together and will be the second model of a Tatzelwurm collection i plan on building.

my usual minimalist cockpit details, none of which will be seen with the lid shut.

fuselage closed up

not wanting to build the engine i put the cowl pieces together, small gap on one side and also made a bit of a mess on the supercharger intake, but it'll clean up easily enough.
