**** DONE: GB-56 1/48 P-38J-25 - Thunderbolts and Lightnings

OK me mates, I think with these last few add-ons, this one should be done barring a last lookover. I'll post finished pics in the next few days if I didn't forget anything.

AN-104-A antenna mast glued back on to suit the radio set I put in. I think the base of this things was wood so might paint it dark brown.:



Brake lines added to the main gear using lead wire:



Ladder installed and painted:



And finally, the emergency pull handle and latches were added and the frame surfaces painted interior green. The handle is 0.2mm lead wire painted red.

I have just completed a bit of cleanup and posted the finished pics. The black gun fairings were touched up a tad as was the bit of paint that pulled away with the port boom "H5" mask. Here are a few final shots.

Here she is next to my Academy P-38F (converted from an "E") completed last year. The Tamiya was MUCH better and way more fun to build.
