mahogany is identical to the chocolate brown color, which is the color that in theory would be to paint the n1k1j, it is a color quite similar to 8017, according to this page mahogany is another fs:

and we look for this

The orginal mahogany wood may have a couple of tones. All of them are the brown. Most of them is of the red tinge.

Thank you very much for your help, the camaraderie is really one of the best things we have here and how you devote yourself to helping, it is something incommendable, one of the best... honored by your heartfelt efforts, I tell you. thanks friend.

With the theme of painting already clear, I dedicate myself to hard work, a model from the 70s, with what it entails...
it needs a lot of work to get the airframe parts aligned
and some photos, although afterward little or nothing will be seen due to the quality of the transparent ones... it shows the time I haven't painted that I've lost something on my hand

Nice Sergio and love those clamps.
My good friend Vic, well, the truth is that I bought them a few years ago, thank you, Geo (Fubar), who gave me the address of a store that had them... this has been going on for years.
Good stuff Sergio. I have a set of those clamps too. Handy things those.
My friend, this is the game that is used. I have another brand new one, now I don't know, but when I bought it, it was very difficult to find

Thank you all for commenting, today I have not been able to do much between the hustle and bustle of changing jobs, doctors for the knee that injured me, (hence the job change), my wife's work shift, the mechanic and that I am within the party committee of the urbanization where I live, on top of that my daughter has bundled me up to prepare to start ta 154, well I have done little and tomorrow the day is also complicated to take the plastic... face Wednesday now I will have time to get serious, on top of that, the older one goes to live with her class at a farm school, so I will still have almost 2 more hours a day for myself!!!

Welcome back Sergio. Lot of good stuff here. My go-to sites for all things Japanese aircraft

Important things first!
Andy in Spain we have a saying for these occasions, "first the obligations and then the debts", or "first sweep your house before looking at the others'... for these situations, this is for the children this summer also have their party with clowns, juggling, foam party and things for children, and how we are trying to get young people to come to the urbanization to the plots that are sold to earn more registries and thus more subsidies for infrastructures than with 50 more registered in the urb. The council can ask us to install the fiber optic network, public lighting and even widen the access to the urb. That the budget we ask for costs us almost half a million euros just to make the road 2 meters wider, the kilometer that separates us from the already widened road.
Busy life what with job change and family activities to take care of. Hope your knee is okay and nothing over seriouse and good luck with the new job.
If everything evolves as it should, I had a knee sprain due to a sprain during basketball training and after that in a rugby match they tackled me with a red card that I have a severe contusion on the same knee, as it has been 5 weeks of disability workplace where my boss had me (I worked in a company as a specialized external worker), all the conditions of the contract have changed and I was working 45 minutes free every day because they were not paid, the machines that I used were destroyed and when I reported the deficiencies because on top of that they got angry with me and tried to make me look bad with my boss, so I told my boss that if he didn't get me out of there within a period of time they had offered me another job and I would leave, time has passed and I have changed, yesterday when I went to pick up my things at the workshop the boss did not want me to leave my locker, he told me, you leave the locker that this is your house when we hope it is so I have a job for you and call you come back to work With me, now here's the tight thing, companies don't want to pay for people so specialized in their field, they prefer to take internships or engineers who have finished their degree... So I'm going to a company that is going against the current that is beginning to form a maintenance team and I am the only official electrician 1 specialist.

If these are pages you must visit, a few years ago I contacted them for some questions I had and today they send me information when I send them a project that I start, they are some of the sources that I mention here that they send me images and data of the Japanese planes, such as particular photos of Japanese planes that are scattered in the Taroa jungle, where you can see the color of the primer they wore, or the particular video of a restored Jake and how it is something that is not on the net. ask not to share

Same problem here in France, many companies prefer to pay engineering trainees (without any experience) rather than employing and paying an experienced profile... This is one of the reasons why I am out of job. And it's impossible for me to do my job without leaving my region, where my 14-year-old son lives with his mother...
Well... Nice subject and nice start Sergio

That's right, Steph. I don't know which district of France you will live in, but Toulouse is 4 hours by car from my house and without exceeding the 90KM/h that they have set for us to circulate now, it seems to me that due to its proximity it is ...... from their father and mother they have passed it on to each other so that people like you or me are as we are, the years of experience are no longer a good point in favor but rather against to have job stability...

Good luck, at least in my field, AI cannot interfere because it is a lot of manual work, but whoever has design work or thinks is very close to having even more problems...

Well, I hope to do a good job with this kit, I'm encouraged that it has something to work on in the joints but in general terms I don't have much of a problem, although it's been a few years without touching anything and that's especially noticeable when it comes to detailing. We'll see how it turns out.
