Good job Wayne. I'm surprised a kit of this calibre has these kinds of fit issues. Is it a case of they designed it to have them open?
Thanks mate, better open than closed yes...I'm thinking 2 things....I did hastilly whack them in place to get it closed up and done.... and the other night while reviewing some wing pics I saw Why things didn't seem right...the main hatches are the wrong way around the latches are not supposed to be at the top...!! and as they are not perfectly square that doesnt help the alignment, so filling and rescribing to fix it....am I happy about my cockup....not really.

So have added the sprue fill to the port wing and going to do that first before the starboard side....in the mean time a have started splashing some paint in the Cockpit fuselage section......things have been going very slowly this past week as I have been rather busy....
 
That would explain the issues with the doors - a rare misstep.

I have yet to find the ideal scribing tool for my needs so will continue with scalpel and thin saws until something magical appears.
