I've had this kit for so long I don't remember when I got it. Every now and then I'd get to building it and I would open the box, check it out and then close it. Raised panel lines, sparse interior and so on. Seemed like just too much work. Then while looking for something else on Hannants I came across this PE kit. So it looks like I'm up for another PE challenge !

Nice one Graham and a sure fired challenge with all that fiddly PE, not to mention the squiggles.

I have that one in the stash myself Graham. That PE set will make a massive, and important, difference in the kit cockpit, as it's extremely bland and has ALOT of glass over it!

That's the main reason I've put it off for so long. Kind of a disappointing kit for Italeri.

Well I have to say, this was a bit frustrating. I had to walk away from it several times. The fit isn't great. I had to lengthen a couple of things to tie it all together. The control column from the kit is just a stick so I made my own. I'm not sure of the accuracy of it. I looked at quite a few kits on Scalemates to check out the instructions for detail and it seems no two manufacturers are quite the same. As well, the few B&W pictures don't show much detail. I'm not going to worry about it though but I figure it's probably about 80% true to life.

You took a hard road with this cockpit, it looks good and fingers crossed it will fit in the fuselage without any problems.
