In this last photo,

the floats were only adapted to the fuselage, in order to make the support structure stick well and then putty and sand it

So I prepared the paint kit which I hope to start tomorrow.

Coming in hot!!! in the painted.. .
A Spanish proverb or saying goes "visteme despacio que tengo prisa" (dress me slowly, I'm in a hurry). I'm not sure what expression to use in English; the ones I remember are too colloquial, and depending on who's speaking, they might be offended, which is not my intention.
