Dornier Do 317

[Zipper730]

I'm curious if anybody has any of the following?

• Detailed blueprints of the Do 317
• Detailed dimensions of the bomb-bay (in particular, width and depth)

Crimea_River, GrauGeist, Micdrow, MiTasol, O OldGeezer

[MiTasol]

I have one document on the 217 but nothing on the 317.

Hopefully others can help

You could try Ugo Hafners site Luftfahrt-Archiv Hafner

I might have some details but it is in my library at home and I am on the road o/s at present. Will try to dig up in about a week when I am home

All I could find was this table in a Polish publication. No other mention of the 317 in the text. fubar57 might have more.

Just saying, for most Dornier aircraft, we are lucky, as the company prepared really detailed drawings of it's designs showing internal arrangement. The originals were I believe in 1/50 scale. Somewhere in my files are copies of many, but so far cannot lay my hands on them. If fubar57 has not sent what you were wanting, post a follow-up and I will resume my search.
Most of my material is indexed, with location, but the Dornier drawings missed getting indexed, know they are here somewhere!

I only found diagrams that were too small to enlarge to be of any good, Artie so if you can help out that would be great

I've looked through what Geo sent me and there are no detailed blue prints and dimensions of the bomb bay.

[Zipper730]

The best I can find is an image here, and with the wingspan being 490 pixels, this woudl correspond to a bomb-bay length of 4.084 meters

[Crimea_River]

That's far from the detailed blue prints you asked for but if that makes you happy then these might help:
