Here's the weekly update my friends:

Finally I began working with the five little guys that so far have behaved quite well.....

The main issue found is that the power turret in the B stand (now I know it's called a HDL 151/2 A, go figure.....🤔), as it can be appreciated in the following image that only represents a sketch of the real thing:

I figured that this HDL can be improved based in what the box proposes (and also based on the fact that it's a really closed fit and it will be detrimental to the project if I leave it this way (without all the incredible gadgets found in the above pic).

Literally a barren piece without grace....... and without crew:

So first things first. In order to accomodate the gunner, after printing a new small crew, lots of dry fitting and scratch building before the paint works (just for the fun of improving the interior view from the outside).

Guess that also I will attach a small zenithal light inside if possible :-k.

The gunner was located dividing the body in two halves, that will be painted along with the rest of the power turret. Once painted, more yellow wiring will be located.....

And this is how the HDL 151/2 A looks like while dry fitting the pieces, along with the cockpit......

And a second view understanding that a lot of detail will be lost once the clear parts are painted, but at least I know (and now you know as well), that the detail is there....

Now it's time to work with the rest of the little people that begs to be located as soon as possible......

See you soon my friends and have a nice one......

Definitely not comfortable. Will be worse when the dome squashes his head. That's some really fine work Gerry.

Good to see you again my friends:

Here's the weekly update of the advance where the priority has been finishing the cockpit along with the little fellows that have so far behaved quite well.

First dressing for the occasion each crew member. Its cold out there in the north sea, so better be prepared. Painting the kapok filled life vests (at least where they are most noticeable in each guy), and locating each parachute as well.

Some paint sessions were made with oils, some with acrylics and finally some washes with different colors.... Some details such as the faces will be painted after each member is finally located (along with locating several pending heads :grimacing:).....

Then on the rest of the crew, here's how the bordfunker looks now....
Gunner 03.jpeg

And this is how the gunner in the HDL 151 power turret looks now after installing more detail to this structured and complex turret.....

Once each crew member was dressed, then the detailing of the cockpit continued and was time to finally begin locating the guys in position for battle stations.........

Now it's time to begin working with the clear parts and with the MG´s found everywhere in this closed cockpit.....

The clear parts presents and excellent quality and guess that some of these details will be noted once the cockpit is closed. Now for this project I finally found a quality liquid masking from Ammo that hopefully will not fog the clear parts.

Also it's time to begin glueing the fuselage and wings and begin cleaning the airbrush for the "arabesken" exterior works.....

Hope you have an excellent week, stay safe and see you soon my friends.
