So it is not so easy nuuumann. I think they had enough knowledge to use trike gear. Having and using the b24 was a welcome convienience. Not to speak of other planes mentioned.

Those B-24s were brought in for nose gear and four-engined familiarisation training for Tu-4 crews. Can you prove otherwise? I doubt it, but you assume they already know these things, so you must be right...
