I didn't even notice YB-17. I was reading the caption and thought "2nd Amendment" would've been a good name for for YB-40.YB-17 ..?
IMHO that's the Lockheed/Vega B-17F-5-VE s/n. 42-5724 named "Thunderbird" belonged to the 322nd BS, 91st BG, 8th AF.
