You are quite right, I wasn't looking at the image. Interesting, probably because a.) the whip antenna and location was deemed unsuitable, so a standard mast was moved back to another location supported by bulkhead (pure speculation)

Possibly due to what appears to be an oblique camera in port mid-fuselage, with no radio visible, probably/possibly making room for further camera fit (or easier access), requiring the radio to be moved aft ?

Not likely to move either radio or battery aft. Both fit under the shelf that supports the camera. The rear oblique pointing camera could not be installed co-resident with the 85gal fuselage tank, but the SCR-522 and battery sit aft of the seat below the shelf.

Thanks for the kind words.
I had an appointment yesterday afternoon at the stroke unit, with various tests, scans and ECG etc, and all seems fine and 99.9% certain it's not stroke related. The numbness down part of my right side is very possibly caused by impingement of nerves etc in my neck/shoulders, from an old injury, so a further MRI scan is being arranged. Meanwhile, my right hand, fingers and right foot are numb, with a balance problem and difficulty walking, which is rather tiring and bl**dy irritating !!
