I see posts on WW2aircraft about Elbonian aircraft, but not with an explicit set of rules.

You are the treasonous minister or secretary for defense/war of Elbonia. Your job is to equip their airforce with new aircraft. These aircraft must look functional and scary, but must be absolutely useless in any form of combat, or in any other emergency.

1. Your aircraft must look functional and scary, as noted above.
2. Your aircraft must be incapable of carrying out its mission or missions or any other useful task.
3. The Elbonians are discriminating judges of aircraft style. Your chosen aircraft must look cool.
4. You may lie about everything else.
5. WWII era is preferred, but if you have a good idea for some other period...

Select your Elbonian aircraft and define its mission. There will be extra marks for creativity and humour. If the aircraft is not funny, maybe your mission can be funny!

My suggestion:

Breda 88 or the Polish zubr

It will not be mission capable as the requirement was "it must be incapable of carrying out its mission or any other task"
The Zubr looks scary to it's crew while the Breda 88 looks scary to possible adversaries.

The Supermarine Walrus was a good aircraft at its designated missions, unless you plan to paint a sharkmouth on it, and pass it off as a high speed bomber.
