I'm still a bit confused, I was quoted in the Hampden thread on Wednesday [also in older threads] and still didn't get an email. I also used to get emails just when people posted in threads I was watching and I don't remember fiddling with the settings until after I stopped getting emails.So that's correct. The three + one more.

The only reason you haven't been getting the notification I thought about , is that nobody has quoted , mentioned you and started conversation with you for the recent year. For the reason none of posts here has met the options you set in your preferences. So just...ww2aircraft.net

I wasn't expecting to get notifications from the past. I mean I didn't get them at the time they happened, when according to my settings I should have got them.Your settings were just changed today. So you can't get any noticfication from the past. All these previous ones were already sent to you as the "what's new" notifications seen at the top bar next to the bell with the number 5577. Click the icon there and the full list of these shopuld appear in a pop-up window. It is the same if the notifications come as the ones seen as the numbers at the envelope ( the PMs ) and the bell ( the recent posts ) icons. I'm sure these are still there. Also please make a focus on the fact that the forum soft is updated automatically all the time and the addons might get changed in their formulas. So these can work a little bit different than those earlier.

The only setting that has changed AFAIK is "Automatically watch content you create... and receive email notifications". "Receive email when quoted" was already on.

I didn't get a notification email for this most recent message of yours (even though you quoted me), either, which is why I'm only replying now.
If this is an old feature hardly anyone uses and it's too much trouble to fix, fine. But it doesn't seem to be working as it should.
