Isn't the 'Hispano' round in reality the Oerlikon FF S round?

In actual fact, no.

But there was little, if any, practical difference. They often used the same projectiles.

2nd from right (20 X110RB) is the Oerlikon round, last on the right ( 20 X110) is the Hispano. They WILL NOT interchange in the guns.

There little left of the 20 X101 Oerlikon by the time the Japanese finished with the 20 X94. Different diameter case body, different rim, different projectiles in addition to shortening it by 7mm.
