I'm pleased to report that I have actually finished one of my started model kits!!! :D
It took some time, but here's my Tamiya Spitfire (which leaves me wanting to start another one...so I did- refer to last pictures of new build!)

I understand that there might be some things that need to be fixed when I do the next one but this is a hobby, not a job, and I'm extremely happy to have another Spitfire added to my collection. :)

Thanks folks! It's been difficult finishing anything with my daughter running away with my paints and brushes ;)
I was too afraid to try out the airbrush with this one. As Airframes most likely remembers from my hamgar thread, I was trying to find the right paint colors and I think the Mr. Hobby Gunze colors came out very nicely.
Yes, my next Spitfire will be 610 Squadron, but I'm going to do a little artists license and use the following codes: DW-B, DW-C and DW-M. These are the starting initials for my father, fiance and daughters names. All of which will end up in my hangar (which I have been meaning to work on, most likely a winter project).
I have to say I love the Tamiya Spitfire kit, I'm going to try to pick up some more and do them as authentic Battle of Britain machines. I particular like the idea of building one of the Mark 1's that are now flying in England.
