Found pictures of RAF 119 Sqn Officers

I recently found a picture of 119 sqn Officers with there names written on the reverse. My step-mother's brother is one of the officers, F/L JV Gibson DFC, who was lost in 1943. I hope the picture may be of some intrest.

There's also something rather unique about 119 Squadron; after being equipped with sea planes, Catalinas and Sunderlands, the Squadron was disbanded in April 1943. It reformed again in July 1944, when part of 415 RCAF Sqn became 119 Sqn, equipped with Fairey Albacore Mk1s, followed by Swordfish Mk IIIs, and was, AFAIK, the only RAF unit to operate these biplane torpedo bombers, normally associated with FAA carrier operations..
