French had a fes and produced some. They called it the nc900. There are pictured in my fw190 captured threadAre there any records of the 190 being used post war? Perhaps in the Soviet Bloc?
Grant, I never heard of the Turks receiving NC.900s, I thought they were all scrapped!
Also in said thread. The Turkish Air Force operated their Fw190Aa-3 aircraft until 1949.
I recall reading that some Fw 190Ds were used by the Soviets. Are there any records of the 190 being used post war? Perhaps in the Soviet Bloc?
The second aircraft has its tail wheel up off the ground / is undergoing maintenance. Is that Russian colors (paint) or German? The Soviets actually put a batch of captured Fw 190 D-9s into service with the Naval Air attachment of their Baltic Fleet, where they apparently served until 1947 or 1948.View attachment 637385

The Soviets mostly left the Luftwaffe camo intact on captured aircraft, just overpainting the German national markings with theirs. The second aircraft has its tail wheel up off the ground / is undergoing maintenance. Is that Russian colors (paint) or German?
