Fw190 Mk108 ever used in ground attack?

Hundreds of FW190s were fitted with the MK108 30mm autocannons for use against Allied bombers, but were they ever used against ground targets? Does anyone know of documentation of any actions where it was used in this way? How effective was it against ground targets especially tanks? I know that it had a low muzzle velocity and short barrel, which resulted in quick bullet drop, so required the fighter to approach a target to within a couple of hundred meters to really work, so would it have even been a decent weapon against armored ground targets?

A good weapon against unarmored targets, a lousy one against armor.

Armor penetration is very dependent on the amount of energy per sq in (or sq cm) of target area. Since energy goes up with the square of the speed, high velocity rounds work pretty well against armor. Wither you are pushing material to the side or shearing a ring (pushing a plug of material out of the plate) a 30mm round is trying to do a lot more work than a 20mm round. The MK 108 simply doesn't have the kinetic energy per unit of target area to be a good armor penetrater.

It appears to me Germany preferred ground attack weapons with high muzzle velocity. Probably to improve accuracy since there are plenty of soft targets on a battlefield vulnerable to 30mm HE rounds.
